Overview
Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group (GMC Group) has 41 high-tech enterprises, two research institutes, seven design institutes, four postdoctoral workstations, one national engineering center (South China Branch of National Construction Engineering Technology Research Center), 16 provincial engineering centers, 12 provincial enterprise technology centers, two Guangdong provincial innovative enterprises, one Guangdong provincial novel R&D institution, one Guangdong provincial academician enterprise workstation, one Guangdong provincial cooperative innovation platform for production, education and research of green buildings and new building materials, seven Guangdong provincial science and technology SMEs and five Guangzhou municipal innovative enterprises. GMC Group has been granted a total of 1,182 patents (including 229 invention patents and seven international patents), established 30 national construction methods and 851 provincial construction methods, won one Second Prize for National Technological Invention, seven National Prizes for Progress in Science and Technology (five second prizes and two third prizes), three awards for Excellent Chinese Patent, 445 provincial and ministerial awards for scientific and technological progress, and edited or participated in 96 national standards, industrial standards and local standards.
