Rescue for Shenzhen 12.20 Landslide AccidentWe supported the emergency rescue and disaster relief for Shenzhen 12.20 Landslide Accident, organized the Guangzhou Emergency Rescue Team to successively provide nearly 200 rescue workers and 2,640 machinery shifts (more than 10% of the total number of machinery shifts on site), and provided advance funds of nearly RMB 10 million in total. The rescue team continued to fight until the last moment of rescue, and became the earliest one to arrive and the latest one to withdraw from the field except the local rescue team in Shenzhen.

Disaster Relief for Typhoon Mujigae in Zhanjiang CityWe supported the rescue after Typhoon Mujigae in Zhanjiang; 500 trees were righted and replanted within 6 days, and the main roads were opened, so that the normal traffic was effectively restored and the safe travel of citizens in Zhanjiang was ensured.

Wenchuan Earthquake ReliefWe went to Sichuan to support Wenchuan earthquake relief, organized more than 1,300 people and more than 160 sets of machinery and equipment, and completed the construction of more than 3,600 transitional resettlement houses within two months.

Bijie-Guangzhou Industrial ParkGMC actively provided the counterpart assistance to Bijie, cooperated with the Bijie Jinhai Lake New District Management Committee to develop the Bijie-Guangzhou Industrial Park Project, and made joint efforts to build an industrial demonstration park characterized by poverty alleviation cooperation between eastern and western regions of China, and counterpart support, so as to help Bijie get rid of poverty.
The planned area of the Project is about 1.6km, and the total investment of the industrial park is about RMB 2 billion. The industrial park focuses on undertaking the transfer of manufacturing industries from Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta, cultivating and implementing a number of demonstration projects, and providing support for the extension of industrial chains and the development of industrial clusters in Bijie. The total investment of Phase I of the industrial park is about RMB 500 million, and the planned construction land area is 295.57 mu (about 0.197 square kilometers). The construction content mainly includes seven accesses and site leveling, prefabricated building production base, incubator, R&D center, exhibition hall, staff dormitory, commercial supporting park green space, science and technology building, and supporting public service facilities.

Guangzhou New CityThe Guangzhou New City covers an area of about 5,556 mu, being the largest Xinjiang-aid project by industry in Guangdong Province at present. Since the project commencement in 2011, the construction of six industrial function areas in fields such as electromechanical equipment and auto parts, small commodities, commercial plazas and decorative materials, and residential quarters has been completed, with a cumulative investment of RMB 2.8 billion and a total development area of 650,000 m2, including 556,000 m2 for commercial buildings, 94,000 m2 for residential buildings and 9,994 shops.
In the past nine years, the Guangzhou New City has always focused on employment, poverty alleviation and industrial development, and has made outstanding contributions to local social and economic development, industrial upgrading, employment and entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation.
